Conscious Business Creates Success

Conscious business creates greater success for you and your business. When you have more awareness you can anticipate problems and opportunities. You're more alive, alert, brilliant and perceptive. You can engage your full power and strengths to create greater possibilities.
How do you be more conscious with your business? Gary Douglas, the founder of Access Consciousness who I've studied with for the past 10 years, defines consciousness as including all things and judging nothing.
Conscious business includes all things and judges nothing. By including everything and judging nothing, you're more fully present to create the success of your business.
Judgment contracts your body, your personality and your ability to be fully present and use your full power and abilities. You're unable to receive and fully use the key information that will unlock success for you.
When you judge you come to a conclusion. It's like you're walking down this long hallway and you've created these huge solid walls of judgment to the left and to the right of you. All that you can see is the conclusion you're headed for. There are no other possibilities available to you.
How do you change that? How do you open up more possibilities? By asking questions and being aware. Ask a question and stop! Instead of trying to figure it out with your mind, allow the universe and your awareness to go to work for you. Your mind can only define the limits of what it already knows. Your awareness is far more powerful. And the universe is just waiting to support you if you let it.
Have you ever thought of something you wanted and then forgot about it? And later on it just showed up as if by magic in a way that you could never have imagined could possibly happen?
When you ask questions and open yourself to receiving more support and information, it's as if doors of other possibilities suddenly appear along that long dark hallway where you were headed to a conclusion. Ask questions and be willing to receive greater awareness. See what opens up for your business.
Here's an example of what that looks like. I have a client who's a fitness trainer that I've been working with for over a year. After 3 or 4 months, she came to me and said "I'm feeling very guilty. I'm going to be moving to another town in 6 months and I feel like I should tell my students." Now I could have told her that that was a bad idea and that she would lose a lot of students, but instead, I asked her a question. I empowered her to acknowledge her own knowing. We have far more knowing than we allow ourselves to be aware of.
I asked her two powerful questions that you can use in your own life or business. They are:
Will this be rewarding?
Will this make me more money?
I asked her those questions And she used an awareness technique that you can use to know the answer to a yes or no question right away. The truth will always make you feel lighter. A lie will always make you feel heavier. When she looked at the yes and the no, it became clear to her that it would be a lot more expansive for her business if she didn't tell her students that she was gong to be moving until a week or two before she left.
From that awareness and by working with her to clear her judgments, she was able to be far more present and available to her students. She brought her full gifts and contribution to them and they were able to gain so much more. And her business is thriving.. She's making a gross income of over $10,000 a month.
Are you willing to let go of judgments and be grateful for everything that happens in your life and business? Are you willing to ask questions and be aware? Are you willing to let your consciousness create greater success for you?

Strategic Awareness for Conscious Entrepreneurs
Friday
Aug 27, 2010
Strategic awareness is the basis for being a conscious entrepreneur. It’s the ability to be fully present in each moment and see clearly what’s going on without assumptions and judgements getting in your way. That’s critical for your business. So how do you get fully present and see things without judgments or assumptions getting in your way? You don’t have to create presence and awareness. You already are. Or rather if you’re not already, you can be by letting go of judgements about yourself and others.
I’ve used and taught many tools for consciousness and personal development for over 40 years. In the past eight years I’ve been facilitating myself and others with tools for transformation from Access Conasiousness. Founded by Gary Douglas about 25 years ago, Access is a powerful and unique way to transform energy and change people’s lives for the better.
One of the central tools of Access is the clearing statement. Without going into a lot of detail, what the clearing statement does is to go back to the point of creation of the limiting belief and transforms the energy so it can be released.
It’s a dynamic tool for letting go of limiting beliefs so you can get a clear and powerful view of your business. I help my clients know what to do next so they can take the most effective action and quickly get the results they’re looking for.
Get Strategic Results with Your Business

You get strategic results with your business when you’re strategically aware of the greater long term influences on your business. Strategic awareness as I talked about in my last post is all about being resilient, insightful and highly effective dealing with challenges and opportunities. In his latest blog post Resilience and the incredible power of slow change Seth Godin talks about how “one event isn’t sufficient to change everything forever… ” With faster and faster change, “glacial changes of years and decades become more important not less.”
Your Key to Personal Power: Strategic Awareness
Wednesday

Your key to personal power is your ability to get out of your own way and to be strategically aware of challenges and opportunities. Strategic awareness allows you see what’s actually going on. Your personal power as an executive and a professional comes from being fully present without your mind getting in the way of your awareness of what’s really happening.
Your mind is a tool for figuring things out. But it also has a tendency to build a library of what it knows. Or rather what it thinks it knows. To be a really effective executive (whether you work in a big corporation or you’re just a one man/woman business) you have to stop depending on just your mind, you have to use your awareness.
Awareness is greater than your mind. It’s you as a being perceiving what’s going on. Intuition is used by business people throughout the business world. Even ceo’s of major corporations use intuition to make decisions. In critical situations that are not black and white (most of life is not black and white) you need all your awareness, not just your mind to make accurate effective choices.
You create your life and your business by the choices you make. Yet so often the choices you make are based on judgments and conclusions about the way things should or shouldn’t be rather than how they really are. As in pointed out, the way you be is the way you see. The paradigms we see the world through limit our ability to see things in different ways.
gives the example of the drawing of a young girl that can also be seen as and old woman. Most people see a young girl, a few see an old woman. It’s very hard for one group to shift their perception and see what the other group is thinking. This rigid viewpoints are what keep us from fully taking advantage of opportunities and effectively dealing effectively with challenging situations that change brings.
Use example of his daughter’s birthday party?
It’s not just your ability to see things clearly that blocks your personal power and performance, judgments and conclusions block your talents and abilities from being fully available in those moments when you need them most.
So if you aren’t seeing your business future clearly and you’d like more awareness, start letting go of your judments and fixed points of view.
