Gather Your Power and Creative Juices for the New Year
Thursday
Dec 24, 2009
It’s time to gather your power and creative juices for the new year ahead. Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukka, Kwanzaa, just enjoy the holiday season or none of the above, this time of year gives you a chance to be renewed. In the northern hemisphere, nature sleeps. She draws new life from deep within. Preparing for a fresh burst of creativity in the spring.
It can be the same for you. Draw deep… And when you’re ready, move forward full of a deeper clearer sense of yourself and your core purpose.
It’s not just an idea. When you allow yourself to embrace that change, you emanate it from your being. You embody it. Most people are guided at least a little by nature and it’s rhtyms. No matter how techie you are.
Winter is simpler, less active, like a meditation. It has a tendency to bring you back to your self. This is the time of year when you can get deeper in touch with what really matters to you. And draw strength for the year ahead. Will you take this opportunity nature gives you?
Born Free

You are born free, but so often your freedom of feeling alive gets taken from you. Especially in a dull 9-5 job where you have no say in what you create. Is that how you want to exist? One of the biggest payoffs for being an entrepreneur is that you feel much more alive. Have you ever seen a lion in a zoo. Living dead. The same way a lot of people feel in big corporations… or any job that takes away your feeling of being alive.

So what’s it going to take for both you and your business to stay alive? A young business needs the same nurturing and mentoring any young lion does. Someone to show you the fine nuances of hunting. Fine tuned split second choices.
Fully alive is a deeper sense of yourself. Even in the midst of intense action. Really, haven’t you ever felt ‘full of yourself’. Feeling good about yourself. Feeling your whole body and your being in sync? You felt happy, expanded, fulfilled? That’s not just possible when the circumstances are right. That’s possible any time you choose it.
What Makes Your Business Profitable?

What makes your business profitable? Is it your relatiohship with your clients or customers? The business systems you have in place? Your core strategy? Your unique product or service? Your branding or your competitive advantage over other businesses? They all work in different ways for you to make a profit.
Ultimately though it’s your choice that makes the difference. You work with the best you can get your hands on and you turn that into something of greater value that people pay money for. You choose to make a difference in people’s lives because you care. A TV reporter asked wine seller and video expert extraordinaire Gary Vaynerchuck how he makes money online. His answer? “Because I care.”
One Major Key to Success…
Monday

One major key to success is to be able to put all your attention and resources towards the most effective action. No matter what’s going on. Have you ever watched a master craftsman working with wood or metal or clay? They have total concentration on getting the most from the material using all their knowledge and skill.
They love the material and delight in their ability to shape it into pleasing shapes. But sometimes the material isn’t perfect or the conditions aren’t right. That’s when the real master of action shows their potency by bringing all their being and all their skill and attention to getting the optimum results no matter what’s going on.
For most people what happens so often is that they get overwhelmed and distracted by their environment. Nonessential information clouds their minds and pulls them off the job at hand. Something in their heart nags them. Stops them. Is that your experience? Do you need validation from your environment before you can fully apply yourself?
How do you keep all your attention and resources focused? By giving up the need for validation and support from the environment. Have joyful attention on your own process and interaction with the essential steps required.
Whas that easy is to flow with an energy of ease, joy and gratitude you feel in your body and express through your interactions with the world.t make Not in a ‘spaced out’ way, but with your talents and abilities turned on and generating creative solutions.
Massage, yoga, energetic bodywork can awaken that generative life force in your body and your actions. Part of the work I do is to help wake up that generative life force in your body and the work you do. And once you have experienced a quickening of that creative power a few times, you can call it forth and start living your life generating greater possibilities all the time.
